A bore hole is drilled at least 40-50 meters into the ground, and then is fitted with a hand pump to draw water. Most villages don't have an above ground source of water, and most ponds and streams aren't clean and safe for drinking.
Many of the things we don't even think about are a real and devastating struggle for many of the girls in Africa, and around the world. The Rosey Day Project is a wonderful solution to a very delicate issue!
Our ministry is in rural, bush areas. Most of these children won't educate beyond grade 7, and one reason is the lack of secondary schools. Our prayer to come along side this school and improve the facilities, as well as educate the students in the Word of God.
