We initially set out to focus our efforts in a 6km diameter circle. This area has several thousand people. Currently we have fourteen church plants, and requests for more preaching points on a regular basis. It seems unlikely to need to concentrate our effort into such a small area, but with the people's only mode of transportation being their feet, it is necessary to keep it localized.
Big Tree and Chikoka are on opposite sides of our ministry circle. The Word of God will not be bound, and a few of our churches are now up to 50 km from this circle!
We travel to different villages and teach systematically through some foundational teaching. The objective is to expose the people to WHAT THE BIBLE says. It can take months to evaluate if an area in truly interested in knowing what God wants for them, in contrast to seeing what they can benefit from coming. We pray for our eyes to be open and our hearts to be in tune with the Lord, and seek where He would open doors for ministry.
The image above is an ariel view of the region we minister in . This is located about 45 kn outside of Chipata. The circle is about 6 kilometers in diameter, and there are dozens of villages within this area.
